Sharon Marshall 

                                                                                   

Sharon Marshall was born in Lancashire in 1971 before moving to London to work as a national newspaper reporter and columnist for titles including The Sun. Her adventures on Fleet Street were poured into her sparkling memoir TABLOID GIRL.

 

Since 2003, she has worked as an on-screen reporter for ITV1's THIS MORNING, specialising in show business and soaps. She has debated at the Oxford Union on the excesses of the media and the perils of celebrity. Other published books include the spoof self-help book, THE NAUGHTY GIRL'S GUIDE TO LIFE co-written by Tara Palmer-Tomkinson. 

 

Sharon has written 18 episodes for EASTENDERS after being accepted onto the BBC Shadow Scheme in 2011 and is currently a regular writer on the show. She has also written numerous episodes for ITV's EMMERDALE.
