C. E. Baker

C. E. Baker grew up in London where he studied Art and Drama and did a stint in the National Youth Theatre.  He left a job at Christie’s the Auctioneers to see the world, working his way in a number of unusual jobs such as pest control, milk factories and rice farming.  He finally ended up back in London where he wandered up and down Wardour Street, knocking on doors until he finally found someone looking for a film runner.

From then on he worked his way through various jobs within the film industry: assistant director, playback operator, editor, 2nd unit director, and finally scriptwriter, and successfully wrote a number of feature films and television series for some of the better-known production companies.

He now spends much of his time travelling between Devon, Portugal and the Far East and writing. The Crown of Distant Dreams is his first foray into book writing and is under development as a feature film under the title Unity and the King. His second novel is The Lostman Woods.
