Charlie Hodges wrote and script-edited on many beloved British TV shows and had over a hundred hours of TV credits to his name. His previous careers encompassed language teaching and marketing consultancy, ice cream deliveries and double glazing sales.  Charlie was fluent in German, French and Spanish, and lived in Tunbridge Wells, England. He had four children, all boys.

His debut novel Vanishing Act, featuring 70 something detective Tom Knight, was published by Farrago Books in 2020, followed by Live Bait in 2021.
