John Corder was born in the UK and educated at Cambridge University. After a period in computer science research, he moved into the commercial sector, where he gained over 25 years’ experience of technical management consultancy in the Hi-tech and pharmaceutical industries, aviation, banks, and central government. His work took him to most countries in Europe, America, and the Far East.

Although a student of computer science, he spent most of his time at university with people from philosophy, history, and medicine. During this time, he met a student of English and philosophy who had very recently had a Near-Death Experience. Over the ensuing 30 years, John was able to see the profound effects these remarkable experiences have on a person’s life. This student later helped John develop his life-long interest in the storyteller’s art, and become a novelist.

Once Near-Death Experience became more accepted, John incorporate it into his crime thrillers. He follows very closely the work of the world’s leading research institutes in the field of Near-Death Experience and allied phenomena. Among these are the International Association of Near-Death Studies, the Institute of Noetic Science, and the Windbridge Institute.

He is a member of the Scientific and Medical Network and attends conferences where leading scientists present the latest developments in Near-Death Experience and allied phenomena: Deathbed Communication, mediumship, precognition, and clairvoyance etc.

John is married and lives in Cambridge.
