Michael Kenyon was born in Hudderfield in 1931. He was a reporter or the Bristol Evening Post, News Chronicle and the Guardian. His first novel May You Die in Ireland was an immediate success as was his Inspector Peckover series. Michael Kenyon died in 2005.
