Omari is a Writer-Director from Birmingham, UK. He began his career in the British animation industry working his way up on a string of hit children’s series until he became a Production Manager and Screenwriter.

As a writer he is developing an ambitious slate of live-action and animated content, across series and features. Omari’s debut short film RESULTS DAY, which he both wrote and directed, was officially selected for the Rhode Island International Film Festival (2023), Birmingham Film Festival (2023), Flatpack Film Festival (May 2024) , Wolverhampton Film Festival 2024 (May 2024), Windrush Caribbean Film Festival (June 2024) and won the The Jan Němec Award for Best Debut at the St Andrews Film Festival 2023. 

In children's scripting, Omari has written for DOG SQUAD, PJ MASKS, JOJO & GRAN GRAN, LOVE MONSTER, TIM REX IN SPACE, and live action preschool series JUSTIN’S HOUSE, BIFF CHIP & KIPPER, NEWTON AVENUE and JAMIE JOHNSON FC. He has developed animation series with Gaumont Animation and Silvergate Media. 

In children’s directing, Omari has just directed six episodes of JAMIE’S TREETOP TALES for Zodiak Kids which aired on Sky Kids in June 2026 and directed an episode of the popular returning CBBC series JAMIE JOHNSON FC for Strike Global.

Omari's background is in production coordination/ management where he has worked across 2D and CGI animated series, contributing to some of the most beloved IP in the industry. His credits include MR BEAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES (Tiger Aspect / Boomerang), HEY DUGGEE (Studio AKA / CBeebies), DENNIS & GNASHER: UNLEASHED (Jellyfish Pictures / Beano Studios / CBBC), 101 DALMATIANS STREET (Passion Pictures/ Disney+), THE TIGER COMES TO TEA (Lupus Films / HarperCollins / Channel 4), SWALLOWED STAR (Axis Studios / Tencent) and high-end CG cinematics for K/DA “MORE”, HALO INFINITE, MAGIC THE GATHERING (Riots Games, 343 Industries, Wizards of The Coast) and as Production Manager on KITTI KATZ (KidsCave / Netflix).
 
Omari holds a BA (Hons) in Digital Animation & VFX from Falmouth University, which he completed in 2013.
