Sarah Deane is an experienced scriptwriter and script editor based in Liverpool. Formerly Head of Development at LA Productions, Sarah is now freelance and developing her own projects. She has recently written two episodes of D.I.RAY Series 2 for Hat Trick Mercurio/ITV which will be transmitted in 2024 and she’s just joined the writing team of DEATH IN PARADISE. Her previous writing credits include original four x 60’ drama COMPULSION which she created and wrote for C5 (TX: 2022). Her previous credits include four episodes of CLINK (Channel 5), and two episodes of MOVING ON (DROWNING NOT WAVING in Series 1 and RULES OF THE GAME in Series 2). Sarah’s script editing credits include ANTHONY by Jimmy McGovern (BBC1), CLINK, PITCHING IN, MOVING ON Series 11 and CARE by Jimmy McGovern. Prior to working in tv drama, Sarah was a quiz writer and freelance content writer. Sarah has a BA in English from the University of Worcester.
